T-45C Replacement

Who is SNC even?
They’ve been around in one form or another for a while, may father did some work for them back in the late 1960’s. I believe their biggest money maker is/was the A-29 (Super Tucano converted to the light attack role) and they sold a bunch to some Middle East nations including Afghanistan. Most of their ISR work is for either states or the Border Patrol but they do maintain some presence with overseas contracts. All that said, it never occurred to me how much a copy cat this is of the one @sevenhelmet worked on until you guys started talking about it.

Folland Gnats! Hard to believe those are actual fighter jets, with kills to boot.
A friend of mine actually bought one this year and flies it. It's tiny!

As for the Navy considering the M-346N... if it has the ability for the pilot to enter and exit the aircraft without a pole vault, I'd say that's a plus (as compared to the T-7 the USAF is blowing money on... er, buying).

"I'll take T-50s for 800, Alex."

Good article.
Looking forward to hearing more about the -346.

The ability to simulate scenarios from the rear cockpit is very nice.
Either cockpit. Or the ground.

The integrated training piece is a huge advantage. And it’s operational and training F-35 pilots today.
