Stock buybacks & Airline CEO Greed

What are other airlines like Hawaiian and Alaska doing to survive this epoch?

Alaska is reducing flying by 15% in April combined with hiring freeze and putting some "projects" on hold. The company is less leveraged than many of the others, and they do minimal long haul/extended lines in comparison. Another strength they have is a captive market in rural Alaska that needs them flying to ensure flow of cargo. As I'm told, they are hurting, but not as sharply as the majors. Not sure how much or little they participated in buy backs/squandering of now precious resources, but the above is what they released a couple days ago to share holders. Of note, they were one of the few airlines hiring in 2002 right after the 9/11 dust settled.
