I actually had a CO who prior to taking command was known as one of the biggest liberty risks around. After his CoC, he holds an AOM, and says that he might have a change of command without a band and that he doesn't care. I left the squadron on a MEU det, and lo and behold he later got shitcanned for encouraging liquor to be sent to Iraq. Dude was wild...but still was never arrested 5 times for PI. 😄
