Yesterday was a break in two weeks of crappy weather and everyone was flying around Davison. 60s, a couple of 64s, HMX-1, and the VIP Hueys out of Andrews.

I should post that the Griz-O-Copter is in a hard down period. During my annual a microscopic crack was found on both of my blade grips. Taken as a whole this isn’t a terrible thing (safety first) but the factory hasn’t yet resumed making new grips for my older model and likely won’t for a number of months! 😫

I might be reduced to flying a Robinson a few times a month to get some time in. Oh the horror!

The Robinson violates my internal rule of not flying in a helo with less than 3 engines. Strap a few more motors on that sucker, and I'm in. 😆
There is a lot I don’t like about the Robby, but that is literally all I can find to fly around here.

I'm certain you can find a little ol Cessna somewhere near you.....time to build your fixed wing time while the Grizz-o-copter is down AWP.
