Blame "big army" they keep adding stuff, but not taking any away or reducing the weight on my 70's era components. When asked about weight reduction, the response was "eventually, but probably not before your depoyment"

Thanks guys! sounds good to me. I'm pressing forward with my packet; I just wanted to get an idea of whether or not there is a descent shot at flying Hawks. I love the idea of not knowing exactly what mission you may be flying, and its awesome that the Hawk can do it all. somehow I think it may be cooler than flying Cessnas too!
