Sounds as if you two have one of those relationships that no one in the military is supposed to ask about. I won't ask, I'll just assume. Hey worm, I heard your course rules give Mystery Mountain Mini-Golf Course a run for their money. Semper.

No relationships here, just practicing a life of celibacy locked up in the Q. Not much going on in Milton other than the study to fly life.
Intercept the power line at no more than 45 deg. Angle of intercept at 3500’ and 170knots West of chicken ranch. Abeam CR, contact Pensacola approach, at the power line intersection, turn heading 050, to a road, then 360 to Molino, then 055 to chumuckla while descending to 1700’, then 050 to point initial, then 140 to point bravo, then 180 to point delta, call point delta insight then switch to tower, descend to break altitude, and ease your way on in while staying out of SW’s airspace. Piece of cake, mini golf aint got nothing!

as I said earlier on this topic... Look up.
More PA's, more forms, more solo hours, more night hrs and more RIs.

You select at the end of primary, there are no more intermediates.

PA's and RIs - what are those? I'm still unfamiliar with some of the military lingo and acronyms. Thanks.

Actually, even though there are more RI's , we still only get one cross country (as far as we are being told now). I am in the lead in class and no one seems to know for sure how it is all going to play out.

What about the E2/C2 guys? It seems ridiculous to have more RIs in the T-34 when you're going to be do much more in the T-44 and then T-45.

Well, in terms of the e2/c2 and jet selectees, the whole reason for not doing intermediate in the T-34 was for exactly that reason. CNATRA felt that doing intermediate RIs in the T-34 would be counter-productive. This makes sense considering the fact that shooting appchs and flying airways is a hell of a lot different in either a multi-engine aircraft the like -44 or a tactical jet like the -45. The main reason that they are now doing it all together has to do with the joint AF-Navy primary syllabus. Having just finished primary in VT-3 (the Air Force squadron up at Whiting), I saw a lot of the issues concerning the joint AF/Navy training play out. I can't give you much info on the new syllabus since I was one of the last to do it the old way. Since I selected jets, all my future RIs will be in the T-45.

Another part of the reason for more RIs in the 34 was due to a higher then average attrition rate in jets. The feeling is that if they get a bit more time in primary it may help out. I am not in the jet pipeline, so who knows if this is sound or not.

I can see where more RIs in general would be beneficial for the jet guys. However they do have more flights to get their cloud card (having IRs to do in addition to BIs, RIs, and Air Navs). It's just that the T-34 isn't a good instrument aircraft. The CDI sucks and is much more difficult to use than an HSI. You can't shoot an ILS in it. Maybe if the jet guys could shoot approaches at 150 kts would help them adjust to the speed differences. Anyway, that's just an idea.

He is still green, and his knuckles come closer to the ground every day. His instructor likes to give him penalty G’s, which seems to stretch his arms out even more.
David Hasslehof if here in the Q to, were all starting to get close to the solo either this week or next. I can’t wait for the PA solo, where we can do a loop and then chase stray planes down and shoot them with our rudder shakers.
