I made this spreadsheet a while ago when I lived in Pensacola/Milton. It's pretty useful, especially for new arrivals who don't know the area. Hope you guys can get some use from it. It's in Excel format.

Yes, I'm a WICKED DORK.

Mmmm...McGuires.

I'm also gonna give a shout out to Billy Bob's.

Got one question, though...has anyone been to Gator's (it's off 87 between Navarre and Milton)? My dad and I have been threatening to go, but don't know if it's a "local" joint where we'd get our tails kicked...

Loved McGuires. Used to go with Webmaster and others. Webmaster would order these funny looking fufu drinks, while the rest of us got steaks. Man, great steaks....now I'm gonna have to take a trip. :)

Been to Gator's It's a family place. Typical fried seafood, pretty good. They don't do credit cards though.

Good to know about Gators... :icon_mi_6

Steve...I'm betting Webby got an Irish Wake? Green, comes in a huge mason jar...

Uh, not that I would know anything about "fufu" drinks...

Something I'd like to add, being the sea-food buff that I am, I was always partial to the Pensacola O-Club. On Friday nights they had an all you can eat sea food buffet, and I was very impressed with the quality of food.

If it wasn't a Friday night and we were craving sea food, The Fish House (if it's still standing) is a great place for sea food but a little on the fancy/expensive side.

Uh, have you SEEN what they put in those? Can you say Long Island Ice Tea with orange juice? and whatever else makes it green. Not a "fufu" drink, that thing will get you fvcked up.

Yeah, definitely nothing fufu about an Irish Wake. Or the Diesel Fuel at Flounders for that matter.

The good thing about the wake is that it tastes good. Unlike the Diesel Fuel, which, well, tastes pretty much like diesel fuel.

You all are lightweights. :icon_tong

I guess I worded my response wrong...I never meant for it to come across as Irish Wake = FruFru...My point was Irish Wake = LOOKS FruFru. Sorry for the confusion.

That said, I've actually had the Irish Wake. :icon_drin Good stuff!

Diesel Fuels can taste good if you get a good bartender. Otherwise they taste like sh!t. But, you get to keep the cool jar.

One night at McGuire's I had a Wake, then did the beer sampler, but did a pint of each instead of the little tray. Great beers. Man I miss that place.

You ever try the Christmas Ale? It was pretty good, but the Raspberry was def the best. Or the one that was like Guinness, or...

Never have tried the Christmas Ale. I have had the Stout, that was good.
