I wanted a sub-compact .45 ACP and was going with either the Glock 36 or the S&W M&P .45. However, held the Kimber and for whatever reason, it felt best in my hand. Now I'm replacing my Glock 21 with it as it's 18 years old but in those 18 years, I never had a single issue with it. Not one FTF or FTL, etc. I'm hoping I got a good Kimber as I hear there are some issues with the 3" 1911 models like mine. I've shot other models and they were awesome IMO. I think it needs a brake in period of 500 rounds or so. Still going to get another Glock, probably a 23 or the new 21 SF. Anyway, pics:
