on 7 dec 1969. we're drilling holes in the sky over mcas iwakini about 20 nmi south of hiroshima.

i key the mic and transmit,

"hiroshima tower this is the enola gaye. i'd like permission for a second pass, over."

5 days later i'm in vietnam dropping naphalm on little yellow people..go figger!
