bch said:It depends on two things. The state (and its associated gun laws) that the weapon is being purchased in, and in some cases the state in which you are a resident (drivers lisc) of.
If you are active duty military with current orders of a permanent type, the second part of what I said above becomes null and void.
For instance, in Colorado, you can walk in buy the gun and walk out with it (as long as u clear the background check). However in FL I beleive I had to wait 5 days.

The only thing that troubles me, is that I can't find any Hi-Cap mags for the XD. If anyone has any idea where I could, let me know please.
