I don't know about not getting it but you can probably expect a hold up at MEPs. I was cleared by MEPS, my paperwork went up the chain and I just got word that I have to have a depth perception test administered and visit an optometrist even though I passed my vision and depth at MEPS. That was three days ago, and I went to MEPS about 3 weeks ago.

EDIT: I shouldn't say "expect a hold up" but if you haven't through MEPS you can expect the unexpected.
 
Makkk I was in the May boards, so it is super fast, but I injured my shoulder and it needs about a month to heal, so I declined the OCS Slot for May. Hopefully they can give it to someone who is really ready to go. I havent gotten my final select yet, and I just got a call that they JUST NOW found out that the not-so-nice guy at MEPS said I failed my colorblind test, which i KNOW I didn't. So I'm going in tuesday to retake it for them. ( it's been 5 weeks since I did MEPS, why wasn't this error caught sooner?!)

oh well. I'll wait patiently and just get ready for my next OCS date.

You made it this far, I'm sure that MEPS crap won't be a problem. I had to go back because my results were tampered with so I feel your pain, but It'll be over soon enough. At least we get to enjoy some extra summer time!
 
Thats a good way to look at it. This is the last summer we get to enjoy free reign for the next decade or two, atleast for all the SNA selects. Might as well make it memorable and crazy shy of being arrested and whatnot.
By the By Wrightmolly was kind enough to send me this link that has details about some of the stuff we will all have to endure at OCS this Fall. Its mostly a slideshow of pictures but its narrated and gave me some insight I didnt have even after countless hours on youtube searching for OCS and flight school stuff. Now I believe some celebration is in order. Yippee Cay Yay MotherF@#$%^

So as I continue my wait for the IW board results, I will celebrate the Memorial Day weekend with...

Friday: Date night with the girl
Saturday: Advanced Free Fall First Jump Course (free courtesy of my University) followed by a birthday party
Sunday: Shooting range
Monday: Taste of Cincinnati Festival in downtown Cincinnati

What are you all up to this long weekend?
 
Sounds like a great weekend! I have to go to a wedding in NJ tomorrow, then I'm going back home (to NYC) for some Fleet Week festivities!!! By far my FAVORITE week of the year haha :D

I'm not sure what else to put for a first post but, I just was informed that I've been pro-rec'd for SWO!

Man this sucks I guess I'm a non select? Been trying to get in contact with my recruiter all day with no luck. I figured if I were selected he would call me right?
