Longest Flight?

Xtndr50boom

Voted 8.9 average on the Hot-or-Not scale
20.9 flight time, KC-10 from Andrews to Singapore (w/ AR over Alaska) for a diplo-flight.

Pure. Hell. Plenty of room to walk around, but I became mildly claustrophobic after that flight

Don't know the squadron, but would his first/last name initials have been "K.N." ... ???

I do believe we are talking about the same individual. And I should have mentioned, it was briefed to be a MANLY fight, training objectives out the window, no face shots, guns only.

Hmmmm ... sounds like "Papa-Golf" ... I knew him when he was a baby Naval Aviator gingerly, tentatively "testing" his then-new "OKIE" call-sign. The concept of a call-sign was still "new" to Brother Puss-Gut and fittingly, he choose what he WAS ... :D

He found/met/courted/married one of the prettiest Texicans I've ever seen.

That wedding was one for the record books.

Picture this: a full house of TEX-MEX's in the pews on the Bride's side looking suspiciously across the aisle at an equally full house of WASP-Okie's from Muskogee on the Groom's side -- looking suspiciously back at them ... maybe not the "longest flight", but certainly one of the "longest weddings". :D

Hands across the sea; or in this case, the Red River.
:)

The reception, however, was GREAT. :D

We have a winner for most pain endured in this thread, hands down.

A4's, I'm taking that Falcon card with us on cruise for JO use. Although we call them Sierra codes now. Will modify as needed. Thanks!

Please tell me you FARPed somewhere? Or I have a seriously flawed idea of how much gas you carry.

Personally, 10.4 with 3 HARs.

Yes, multiple FARPs throughout the night...I think the FARP guys got sick of seeing us....

Not single piloted, but...
11.6 on a SAR case East of Bermuda with landing in Bermuda overnight.

Standard deployment sched is a single crew fly five 9 hour days, two days off, five 9 hour days...90 hours in 2 exciting weeks (which is the total length of our deployments to So/Central America...I know, big freakin' deal).

Longest flight- 14.something, P-3 SAR Mission. My last flight with Big Red.

Shortest flight- .1, H-60 SAR mission, don swimmer stuff, run to helo from ready room, fly to MOB, get lowered down hoist, grab said MOB, wrestle with panicked MOB, get hoisted back up, back onboard in 12 minutes total.

I believe that would be a .2
