We (vt9) were told that we can take the jet for the weekend to either jaxs, new orleans, pcola, or key for the solo xcountry. Key sounds pretty interesting....

No way? Are you sure? I can give you names of guys that are winging right now that all went to Charleston for their AN-18. And then shortly after they started this "only 5 destinations" are approved bs.

Went there, but they didn't overnight, right?
I am talking RON. As far as I know you can get an out-and-in to other destinations with the right paperwork done.

But then you get to come home instead of having a private jet for the weekend.

Glad to see they've lightened up. When I was a stud we wern't even allowed to do a touch and go anywhere. I just did a huge round robin flight plan back to NMM and logged a 2.0 both times. Talk about boring.
