When I was going through Meridian, I found a website where some scanner geeks had worked out the MOA freqs for all our working areas, as well as a bunch of our tac freqs and unofficial chattermarks. Decided at that point they weren’t exactly the best venue for talking about that hot chick at the bar or such subjects . . .
 
Are letters hard for you RD? If so, you should get your money back from where ever you went to school.

Whatever, those nerds went through a lot of trouble to hear real military pilots on the radio. Give em the show they paid for.

Better than the insane CV Skipper with a scanner who found out all the HSC inter flights so he could catch us shit talking his madhouse of a boat. Bet your scanner doesn’t have Havequick!

I can’t remember the name but you got the boat right. The week I spent doing the ammo offload following was like staring into the abyss.

Yeah, him and the Air Boss had a real loving relationship. We kept getting yelled at to stop flying so “aggressively” and then in the next breath to go faster. It was a very Catch 22 sort of experience.

I was a shooter there from 2004 to 2006. Right timeframe ?
 
Yeah, I was thinking that Rob left before that cruise, but there were a couple other AW regulars who were there @BigIron @pilot_man

He's retired now, so I think we can identify CAPT C. Ladd Wheeler as a bit of an eccentric in the leadership department.
