I find running outdoors decreases my time.

But that is just me.

Well, I was going up and down hills a lot so that probably contributed to the slower time. Plus it was a little harder to find the right pace, usually I just set the speed on the treadmill and maintain it the entire time. I found it a little more difficult to set a pace outside since I was used to the treadmill. Actually, I didn't really time myself it just seemed harder. All I'm saying is that it's a good idea to train outside since that is what you will be doing at OCS.

i found out the same pdt. ran outside for the first time yesterday and it increased my time by a decent amount and seemed a hell of a lot harder.

June 15 OCS! Break out the suntan lotion! Can't wait to get started (and finished)!! Coming from San Diego with 3 other priors.
