Than performance evals?
/rant/ Yes, documenting your performance is required, and I know it is just the nature of the beast, and sure, it is probably the most important paperwork you do for your career, but I wish it were otherwise.
Even after doing 'em for 9 years (OK, the two "not observed" in flight training don't count), and doing a better job keeping up with documenting everything/drafting bullets throughout the year I find it the easily the least enjoyable thing I do. Talking up everything you do, like you are the primary cog in the wheel, wordsmithing ad nauseum, ugh!
A week ago when I started I found it hard to get motivated to put it all together...sat watching every Strong Bad e-mail on Homestarrunner.com, then checked in on this website for awhile. Next thing you know I'm popping open a couple, three beers.
Thankfully it is 99% done.
/end rant/
Is it that bad for anyone else? Are Navy/Marine Corps evals easy?
