1030-1200 Read Chapter 1 from Text Book
1200-1300 Lunch
1300-1400 Sit around
1400-1530 Decide to read chapter 2 from Text Book
1530-1600 Watch DVD for chapter 2 section A of Text Book
1600-xxxx Go home and read chapter 3 from Text Book

0900-1200 Read Chapters 4 and 5 from Text Book
1200-1230 Lunch
1230-1300 sit around and play with dog and cat that live there
1300-1530 Watch DVD for chapter 3 and 4
1600-xxxx Go home and read chapter 6 from Text Book

1030-1130 Take Stage 1 Exam (group test covering first 5 Chapters)

1215-xxxx Go home and read chapter 8 from Text Book

0900-1030 Read Chapter 8 Some More from Text Book
1030-1130 Take Stage 2 Exam (group test covering chapter 6 and 7 Chapters)

1215-1430 Watch DVD for chapter 8 and play with computer
1430-xxxx Go home and read chapter 9 from Text Book

You request where you want to do IFS.
Uniform is civilian clothing.

IFS Day 5 at Manassas Aviation Center:

Arrive 0900
0900-1030 Watch DVD for Chapter 9 and 10
1030-1200 Lunch
1200-1300 Decide whether or not to leave early
1300-xxxx Leave early for drinking sustainment time and liver hardening. Start flying on Monday

IFS Day 6 at Manassas Aviation Center:

Arrive 0930 for 0930 flight
0930-1400 drink coffee, complain about crappy weather, study for final exam
1400-xxxx leave and go screw around. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

IFS Day 7 at Manassas Aviation Center:

Arrive 0915 for 1100 flight
915-1100 drink coffee, complain about crappy weather, play with dog, study for final exam
1100-1200 do sample pre-flight check
1200-1300 lunch
1300-1400 fill out practice XC forms
1400-xxxx leave and go screw around. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

IFS Day 8 at Manassas Aviation Center:

Arrive 0915 for 1100 flight
915-1130 drink coffee, complain about crappy weather, take stage 3 exam (navigation), take end of course exam
1130-1200 go over exams with flight instructor
1200-xxxx go get a haircut, rent some movies, cruise the parking lot for a spot, and work on safe for solo take home exam. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day to fly.

IFS Day 9 at Manassas Aviation Center:

Arrive 0900 for 0900 flight
0900-1000 pre-flight and file flight plans etc
1000-1115 fly practiced turns, ascent, descents, and demonstrated slow flight
1115-1200 debrief
1200-xxxx go home and finally see girlfriend again after 2 months, etc

IFS Day 10 at Manassas Aviation Center:

Arrive 0900 for 0900 flight
0900-1000 pre-flight and file flight plans etc
1000-1030 wait around for flight instructor to get ready
1030-1130 fly the pattern praticing takeoffs, landings, and turnds
1130-1200 debrief
1200-xxxx go home for liver hardening and drinking sustainment time

IFS Day 11 at Manassas Aviation Center:

Arrive with jet lagged girlfriend at 0900 for 0930 flight
0900-1000 pre-flight, wx report, instructor suggests girlfriend back seat, file flight plans etc
1000-1130 practice radio calls, slow flight, power off stalls, and emergency landing procedures, all with girlfriend in back seat (kinda cool)
1130-1200 debrief
1200-xxxx go home and decide what to do with the rest of the day

IFS Day 12 at Manassas Aviation Center:

Arrive 0900 for 0930 flight
0900-1030 wx report, file flight plan, discover mechanic has run off with keys to airplane, drink coffee, play with dog,
1030-1345 lunch, etc
1345-1400 pre-flight
1400-1530 practice takeoffs, landings, steep turns, power on stalls, power off stalls, ascents, descents, engine failure emergency landing procedures, and radio calls.
1530-1600 debrief
1600-xxxx take GF to commisary/bx and contemplate merits of having a girlfriend
