I can help ya tydaddy. The differances in opinions between the navy folks here and an Air Farce dedicated site is the opinions here are based in sound judgement and analysis and for some of us, unmatched real world experience. On an AF site they are likely to be complaining about being TDY for more than 2 weeks, not having a weekend off, the golf course not being overseeded soon enough, the inflight crew meals not having chicken breast, and naval aviators taking their women.

The major difference between Naval Aviators and AF dudes is that AF dudes aren't flaming homosexuals like Navy guys are. Other than that...there isn't much difference

No tension between the AF guys and Navy. The Air Farce is envious of our skill, daring, devil may care attitude and reputation. Us Navy guys are confident with our place at the tip of the spear with our USMC colleagues. It is the Air Farce coming over to this site just to associate with some real warrior types. Go ahead and look at the AF OTS site and then compare it with a real military indoctrination program like Navy OCS. You want the easy way go AF. You want real challenge from literally day one and the pride that comes from meeting that challenge, go NAVAIR. Over..

In all honesty, I've had fun here at API and Pensacola so far. Sure, I crack the occasional "Navy dudes are gay" jokes, but I've had plenty of jokes thrown at me. The Navy guys are just jealous that we get treated so much better by our parent service. Sure, all of us blue-suiters are branded as lazy and out of shape. At least we're not butt-pirates....

Yeah, the Chair Force is trying to inject some testosterone into their pilots. So, they send a few of their menlyist men and send them through some real pilot training. The results aren't in yet, but its not looking good so far.
