How hard is it to get accepted?

No. Summer school isn't required. Summer is for drinking and forgetting what you learned all year.

Thanks.

... yeah, this was my first summer term. Xbox live and beer pretty much ruined everything so far :D. Plus the fact that out of my core group of friends (about 10 people) I was the ONLY one that decided to take summer classes. One of those was College Algebra. That was big mistake taking it over the summer.

Are your classes only worth 2 credits apiece or something? Calling less than 4 classes a semester "full time" is ridiculous.

No there three credit courses, but to be considered full time undergrad here you only have to take three courses, to play sports we have to take four and thats what most people take anyway four or five.

At UC it's 12 credit hours to be full time. 12-18 full time, 18+ is overload. This coming year I'm taking 19, 20, and 19 credit hours. Talk about a shitstorm! :icon_tong

Most of our classes are either 3 or 5 credit hours with a few 2 and 1 inbetween. Unfortunately we're attempting to make the dreaded switch from quarters to semesters and making some classes 4 credit hours. I'm not a big fan of semesters cause our school made its name from our Co-Op program. We invented it.

I took 21 hours once...I thought I was going to slash my wrists...I'm in 9 hours of summer class. It is full time at University of Oklahoma, I could NOT imagine what 12 hours would be like, because my summer classes are M-F.

Panda,
I just started the whole BDCP process about a week ago. I live in Orlando (go knights!) as well, and used the 800 number to find the local recruiter. I talked to a few people in Jax but they gave me the number of the local guy. He's based out of the Army Reserves building near Orlando International. I can get you his phone number if you want, just let me know.

I took 9 hours last semester and 9 hours this summer. 12 hours is full time, but I did not want to take anything more than Physics 2, Diff.Eq, and Statics in the same semester. After this summer (chem, dynamics, thermodynamics.. almost done thank God), i'll be finished with all the shitty engineering core classes so maintaining full time should not be as difficult.

I started out not knowing what degree to do so I finished up all the gen-ed's, and now I have no cushion classes to keep me full time. Just keep that in mind when you're registering, save them for later if you can.

Yeah, if you could PM me the number with his name/rank I'd appreciate it. I wish I had the mathematical ability to do an engineering course... I'm really terrible at math. I try my hardest, I usually average a B in math classes, but when it comes to retention, I can't seem to do it.

Thanks man.
