Gifts for winging ceremony

I am the grandmother of a soon to be Navy pilot, and I would appreciate gift suggestions for a winging ceremony. I am thinking of a set of gold wings. I have no idea really where to get them.

Gave my son a set of the flywings two years ago. I took them to a local engraver...had his name and wing date engraved on back. A great gift choice IMHO.

That is pretty dope. And different than the same things every other JO has hanging in his place. Now, how well it’d survive all the moves and movers in the first ten years of a career is another question...

It's on my "list of shit to buy when I don't have to worry about movers breaking shit". All my model aircraft haven't left the shipping containers.

One can always sequester the important stuff from the trained apes, and put in one's POV or make other arrangements. Technique only . . .
