Dude, I loved that game. I would play it today if I still had a C 64.

Wings of Fury on an Apple IIc. Nothing more satisfying than plinking little Broderbund people running across the pacific islands. Then you'd come back and trap aboard the carrier, all in your F-6F.

To bring it forward a decade or so.... Aces of the Pacific. Fantastic game for the PC. Still a great game even compared to today's super graphic games.
