Sorry, I thought you were talking about flight pay since it’s a flight pay thread. For general pay, you must have been enlisted for a minimum of 4 years and 1 day to be eligible for O-1E pay.

So if I’m at 3.5 years will I be at regular O-1 with over 3 years?
Yes. And if you have any break in service (ie. Got out and went to OCS), your time in between enlisted and commission will count toward your time in service as well. Not toward O-1E pay but toward O-1 with X number of years. (That time in between will not count towards retirement, however.)
