What difference does that make ??? What "race" you'll be "leading" --- that makes a difference to you .... ???

Why would something like THAT even enter into your thinking ???
Ah yeah. I am curious. Can we get an answer?

On a lighter note, did I mention that women that are half filipina and something else (caucasian, african american etc..) are some of the hottest women ever? A la Vanessa Minillo (her father, who's italian, was an american GI). :) :)

I'm half filipino thanks to the Navy...kind of why I joined...if my dad wasn't a Supply Officer and wasn't stationed in the PI...I wouldn't be here now. I figured the best way to repay it was by having the best career in the world: Naval Aviator. BTW i also hate it when people call lumpia "eggrolls"...it's not the same!

*sigh* ... Lumpia: a creation of the gods ... same for pancit, chicken adobo, and ice cold San Mugu (Miguel, if you must) beer .... Mabuhay. :)

Tough to find good Filipino restaurants ... so I do the pancit and adobo myself --- good job, if I must say so --- but the lumpia --- I'm still working on it.

Damn, where's Fly when I need him. That's almost a direct line from The Office. "You look very exotic. Was your father a GI?"

Yes, nothing seems to disappear faster at the command potluck than the lumpia and pancit. Strangely, once people find out you are married to a filipina, they expect you to bring lumpia to every function, almost as if it's your duty. Will we ever break the chains of these racial stereotypes?!

I have never been drunk enough to brave it, but I have witnessed it. Can you actually taste/feel the beak, or is it all just a tender little morsel at that point?

Pussy :D ....it was a Westpac tradition and right of passage. Everyone on their first visit to Cubi was honor bound to have at least one.

It's been 20 years and I was very drunk, but I kind of remember something a little crunchy as I gagged it down.

Sorry! I'll never do that again!

:icon_duck CRUNCH, GAAAAAAAAAAAAG & REEEEEAAAAATCH!
We did have a rule in my squadron...you couldn't play smiles if you'd never eaten a balut....:D

If honor and tradition didn't get a nugget to choke a balut down, this rule usually did the trick.
