This always worked for me. I make a list of the EPs and when I quiz myself on them I recite the procedure including N/W/Cs into a tape recorder. I then play my response and check it using the big book. Of course you want to know why you executing these steps but it sends a good message to the IP when you can verbatim EPs with little effort.

well, when I was learning the T-34 EPs back in VT-28..go Rangers!...we had a table tennis table in the ready room that the CO had purchased. People would play and resite EPs to one another as they hit the ball back and forth. This tool seemed to work for many people ( not saying you have to play table tennis!) but it made it easier in the plane when the IPs wanted to know the procedures for the compressor stall on while I was on short final!...just a thought....now its T-45 EPs...mmmm. eject..yey!
