I would argue that the reverse is true. Engineers have a hard time with the "I believe" button.

That may have some truth to it, but I thought he was talking about an Aeronautical Science Degree.

I think the aero guys do just as well/poorly in API as the rest of us. The one class that they might excel in is only 1/5th of the cirriculum and is regularly aced by History and Poly Sci majors. It is (like the rest of API) more a measure of how well you can memorize and regurgitate info on tricky tests.

Almost any degree will do, I actually know a guy that was a Navy RN and trasitioned to pilot.
