Cricket... cricket...

I'd like to think most are still here. In lieu of the PC tsunami that seems to be smothering our leadership, I think most tend to read threads rather than post. It's just too risky to be honest. Being the positive old fart that I am, I know deep in my heart that this big swing in progressivism will not endure the test of time. Some great leaders may be in Dire Straits today, but this period will swing the other way eventually. Change is the only constant.

Heck- Even Skeeterman is probably still lurking around. Come on Fred- Post something creative.

Sometimes just being a lurker is more satisfying than getting into an argument by posting something that just doesn't jive with modern times or isn't understood by the younger generations. I've taken this approach with my own kids who are in their thirties. I just nod and smile. :)

Just remember . . . they get to pick your retirement home. :)

<-- Someone's kid in my thirties.

For reasons unknown to me, logging on to AW has been nothing short of a 5% success rate for the past two months. The few times I've gotten on, and tried to post a reply…El Freezo. We'll see how this goes.

So…okay…that seemed to work. Have us old farts missed any drama? Maybe our absence has reduced the drama?

Not to mention that the caption was obviously added digitally, most likely via MS Paint.

As another "someone's kid in his thirties" I can say that the nodding & smiling is mutual.
