Control Stick Tap Handle

Well, damn...I could not find it on the Sporty's website.

That's a product they carried in the catalogs for years, and I bought one about 10 years ago for a similar project.

But, I can't locate a link, sorry.

I am running into difficulties figuring out how to attach the control stick to the tap. Would any of you guys have a picture of your handle from the bar?

I have seen this done twice.

With the replica stick, it was all ready tapped from the bottom (sts) for mounting on a desktop base (it was a trophy). All we had to do was re-tap it for the size/threading of the tap.

When a previous squadron did this with a real stick, we had to go have a plug milled that fit the base of the stick and was threaded for the tap. Cost us a handle of Jack and whatever a tennis-ball sized hunk of aluminum cost.
