"SANTA MONICA, California (AP) -- Two fraternity boys want to make lawsuit against "Borat" over their drunken appearance in the hit movie.

The legal action filed Thursday on their behalf claims they were duped into appearing in the spoof documentary "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan," in which they made racist and sexist comments on camera.

The young men "engaged in behavior that they otherwise would not have engaged in," the lawsuit says."

Watch these idiots draw even more attention to themselves with a bogus lawsuit. Nice work.

Anyone who saw the movie will realize that those college students were nothing but red-neck trash who said some sh!t you should never say on camera. They knew they were being recorded, it wasn't a hidden camera. They have no case.

This...is...Caketown!
You know, that frat boy part was one of the parts I thought was scripted. I was like, "Man, they are overacting so badly it isn't even a believeable scene!"

Now it's really funny.

These boys are going to have a real tough time showing their faces any where after this case. I mean who would believe that a movie filmed in the U.S. would not be shown in the U.S.

I think they are pretty smart. The millions of people who saw the movie already think they are racist, sexist *******s, why not try to get some money out of the deal? The case won't be super big news, Cohen will probably settle, and they will have a pile of cash for their troubles-- the American way.

I assume Cohen had everybody sign consent forms. However, those will not be legally binding if entered into while intoxicated, right? This is all just educated guess because I am not a lawyer. Surely more frivolous cases have been won in the past.

Also, the townspeople from Kazakstan might sue:

They each got 3 pounds for appearing. I can't imagine any American or western European jury not finding in their favor that they should get more money, seeing as how well the movie has done.

Your whole tone of entitlement is disturbing and is also what is wrong with our civil court system.

Read what you sign. It doesn't matter what someone tells you, read what you sign.

Haha, I don't like my tone either, nor the current state of our judicial system. That doesn't negate the fact that these guys are being pragmatic. They already look like idiots, so why not try to get some compensation? It isn't their responsibility to fix the judicial system.

This isn't the first frivolous lawsuit nor will it be the last. I'll sign a petition for tort reform if anyone has one going around.

My confidence is restored. ;) This is what we get for allowing lay juries to make such decisions. While I'm not a big fan of how some judges have handled things, I'd rather have someone with a law degree making decisions than some dude who didn't have anything better to do than come to jury duty.

One person with a law degree makes it binding arbitration, which I am not a big fan of. Unless its those guys from Wedding Crashers. A panel of people with a law degree would be better. But then, how much do such highly educated people have to be paid to listen to cases, 90% of which are pretty minor?

Reminds me of what they say about democracy: "The worst form of government, except for all the others."

jus saw the movie..

the part where the chicken hits the ground and yelps is probably the funniest part...I seriously could watch that hundreds of times over.

The movie was hilarious, but I think that one scene lasted way too long. You know which one I'm talking about. It's the one that lasted way too long. The one that you were sitting there watching and thinking, "Wow, I wish I could see less of this."

It's the male revenge for us having to see a naked Kathy Bates in About Schmidt.
