And end like this...

Is A-pool basically the same for Marines? I hear all kinds of shenanigans from the Navy studs on here and am curious if this is something for devildogs to look forward to as well.

Yes. We had our own stupid rules- but they were nothing compared to the BS that we dealt with at TBS. We worked the system and had a great time. The Navy cats that complain don't know how good they actually have it. Marines knew this, and thusly didn't fuck it away. If someone did, the LPA/JOPA was there to cover and correct the problem before it got further up the chain and created ass pain.

Mustering once a day gives you a reason to get out of bed and put a uniform on. It reminds you that you are an officer in the worlds greatest military, not in college anymore. It isn't hard to get up at 7, show up, sign in, get any updates and then go to the gym. You're home by 9 and already have your workout in for the day.

Swanee, hate to disabuse you of notions, but the 2LT boy wonders at MATSG-21 managed to fuck it away just like their Navy friends. A lot fewer PRT failures, that's for certain, but everything from gundecking muster to popping for cocaine.

Biggest difference was the Navy was usually content to kick buffoons out of the Program and call it a day. The Marines weren't happy until they'd ripped off their buttons, broken their swords and kicked them out of the fort, too.
