True, but I find what he has done already simply amazing. He's obviously bright and hard working. Heck, in the right political environment he could end up being Nigeria's "domestic" aircraft producer, subcontracting most of the production to Western companies.

That continent is definately the land of ingenuity in more ways then one. Some of the Cars they have running that havent been converted to Helicopters are just crazy jerry rigged.

OK, so maybe he's not going to win any awards for beauty or even efficiency. Maybe he's not going to receive a financial windfall for his designs. However, he's showing the intellectual curiosity and tenacity that will make him successful in life. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets snatched up by a helicopter manufacturer (after all, he's demonstrated that without any logistical/technical/engineering support that he can build a flying aircraft), and establishes a successful career. Who knows, after "interning" at Eurocopter, Sikorsky, what have you - perhaps he does return and become the first domestic helicopter producer.
