They were/are THE BEST ... from a skill level, from a customer service level, and from an attitude standpoint ...

Yesteryear -- in SUBIC/CUBI ... plan on a hour for a haircut/shave ... ABSOLUTELY da' best experience you could have and not worry about a UCMJ violation !!!

Today -- if you can hook up w/ the Filipino guy @ the NEX barber shop ... while it might not be an hour of pure pleasure like it used to be, you'll still get a better haircut from him than from the rest of the folks ... :)

I just took your advice and I have to say I was very impressed with Bensons. I'll be getting my haircut there from now on.
 
Okay...nothing's over until it's over of course, but in 36 (yikes!) replies, here are the current standings:

1. A tie for first place between Five Flags and Suzie at the Whiting Q: 4 votes each.
3. 4-way tie for third place...Rick's, VT-86 Academic Building, Bensons, and John: 2 votes each.
7. 6-way tie for seventh place: Esquire, Fantastic Sam's, Ready Room, Kristy's, "That guy" at the Main NEX and Ahmad.

No one really answered A4sforever and my "unstated question"...which barber's got the biggest tits? Please let it not be Ahmad...

Yep...kinda slow day at work. Me? I go to Alberto's in Chula Vista next to the 7-11 across the street from Southwest Community College.
 
I understand how you picked 1st, 3rd, and 7th places...but....uhhh.....if they're "tied" for a specific spot, wouldn't they all hold that same spot? And then the next group would be 2nd, 3rd, etc?

When there's a tie at the Olympics, #3 still gets a bronze, not a silver.

*Gasp* Oh, come on, please! Do we have to have pussy on the brain all the time? When I go to the barber, I just want a haircut, and maybe a little bit of discussion with a bunch of old timers about how f*cked up the world is becoming. For everything else, there's Ruby Tuesday!

You're saying if you, me, and MB run the 800m and finish at exactly the same time...we don't all get gold? And if not, who decides who gets silver/bronze?

I'm saying if you and MB run 7 min miles and I run 8, I get bronze, not silver. You're ranking competitors, not their times. The times are ordered 1,2,3. The competitors are ordered 1,1,3,3,3,3,7,7,7,7,7,7
