Been there and married.
1. Bring a Marriage Cert. you might not need it but most likely you will.
2.You will not be an "O-1" you will be an "E-5" as far as pay is concerned for OCS. Something about Officer Candidate not being a rank, go figure.
3. My wife stayed in Texas and they asked for the zip and thats what they based it on.

When you are gained into the military your pay ALWAYS gets fucked up.
The Marines in Admin do there best to help make sure you get all your paper work straight, but you won't have a shit load of time to talk to them once pick up starts.
5. Going back to #4 they will most likely not get all you paper work done in time for the first time you get you check, so you might need some of that savings.
For example with me this summer, my pay was all jacked up and so I got a months worth of BAH in one check. While the rest of the platoon was getting $300 bucks, the married guys were getting close to a grand
