As an avid pickleballer, you don’t know what you’re talking about. My years of tennis and racquetball have paid dividends. What part are you having difficulties with? Scoring? Kitchen? Serves?
And how do you feel about balls?I like pickles

Increase the sweet spot of your pickleball paddle by adding weight tape. Not hitting the ball in the sweet spot…I hit a ton of balls NOT in the sweet spot and they end up going in the net due to lack of velocity. I have an avid background in table tennis where basically the entire racquet surface is a sweet spot. In table tennis, a “proximity” of where the ball is going to be [prior to racquet contact] works pretty well…but NOT in pickleball…you definitely have to concentrate on sweet spot contact regarding pickleball.
