Are stories of the SWO community valid?

SWO Community as seen by aviators

SWO's carry a BM's whistle on a chain to summon their herd of other SWO's...those SWO's will degenerate into a pile of self loathing and hate that will destroy any living creature within a 12 meter radius and leave the original SWO unscathed to carry on with his day...

If that fails then they throw their shoes at the enemy...

Sorry "pmasters". No "issued" sidearms for SWO's at OCS or at the ship.

The concept is kind of interesting. If JO's were issued sidearms at sea and in-port, I believe more department heads would be forced to "reflect" prior to calling away the morale suppression team and other administrative non-sense.

For example:
A JO is assigned to write a message.
30 minutes later- DH reviews message and says: Do this message over.
30 mintues later- Do this message over, it's not right (repeat twice more) without telling the JO what's wrong with it.

Do you think the SWO on SWO cannibalism would stop with SWOJO issued sidearms?

Or would the DHs just shoot their JOs and ask for new ones?

Ha pickle thanks for making me feel good about my career choice. That was hilarious though. Luckily I happen to have Random Task's shoe-throwing skills.

And thanks for the info, didn't think we got one but was curious.

I was in our weaponeering program today calculating delivery parameters for practice bombs and little did I know that after GP there is the heavy inert, after heavy inert is practice bombs and after that, are SWO's. Did you know that releasing a SWO in a 45 degree dive at 500 knots does ths same as a MK76! And if you want to hit a hardened target, you don't even need a penetrator!

To be totally correct --- you really should put a shotgun shell in his ass so you can see the puff of smoke when he impacts.

It will facilitate spotting your hits ... :)

Heard a similar quote: "If rape is inevitable, just lay back and enjoy it."
I wouldn't go using that one around the squadron spaces though.
