When I was on the Iwo Jima(LHD7), I was the master helmsman, so as you can imagine I spent tons of time on the bridge with all kinds of different SWOs. As far as I can recall there was not a single one that I didn't like. The OODs and CONs were always professional and always ready for their duties on the bridge. I am applying for Pilot, NFO, and SWO. If I don't get picked up for my too first options I will gladly do the bridge thing again. There is just something romantic about that! It is true that they are the backbone of the NAVY, great community!!!
