29JUNE2026 IWC Board

Its the Navy, there is a waiver for everything. Also, you never know just how strong of a candidate someone is or how highly they have been recommended based on interviews or appraisals. If ive learned anything in my career so far, don't underestimate your shipmates too much.
When it comes to officer recruiting they are very strict, when there are waiverable items they limit the number of applicants with waivers they will accept. They were so strict in the past that if a person was going for aviation and ended up being rolled back in OCS which caused them to go over the age limit for commissioning aviation they would have to drop or redesignate, thankfully I believe they stopped that.

I didn’t know no waivers was so important. Makes me feel better about my package now.

I was wondering about the Intel applicants above age 35 who are in the spreadsheet...I thought the cutoff was 35 according to the latest PA.
I’m one of those. When I was starting my application this past April my recruiter said the age limit was 42. After MEPS I had an allergy waiver that was cleared. My recruiter told me that my package submitted successfully with no waivers.

Has anyone heard any updates on results? Based on the AD applicants who have been selected so far, I feel like I have a pretty good chance, but at this point I’d just really like to know either way. (Also I am well aware of hurry up and wait just curious) If I’m not selected, I need enough time to shift my focus and get everything together for another board. The waiting is definitely getting harder when the next deadline keeps getting closer.

Just got a call from a Sergeant and answered, thinking it was “the call”. It was one of those spam calls, dude was asking for info on someone random 😭😭😭… this is too much

It looks like you applied to CW, no?…I was referencing Intel that changed their age limit down to 35 per the PA issued in July 2025

It could have to do with BOL being down still. When i called the Navy Career Center, they told me they couldn't pull any information until BOL is back. I dont know if they use the same backend systems for civies
