Do you have any waivers? In some cases they have not forwarded on applications with waivers if they have too many applicants.

Paul is the person you would want to talk to.

Would this apply to all waivers including lasik? Or is it typically for more serious waivers?

I get a feeling the at board list might not be accurate. I have a friend who applied for an OCS board and got confirmation he is in that board, however checking the list I don’t see his name.

I’d like to think that I did everything I could to ensure I was on this board. Turned in on time, followed up to the point of being annoying, and I don’t see my name on the list.

sorry to vent. This is definitely a me problem.
If any y’all have a point of contact at millington I could reach out to please DM me. I’ve already spoken to Paul several times.

thanks y’all and good luck ??
Weird stuff happens man... some packages sit around and gather dust while others are submitted the month before the board and end up being considered. All we can do is keep pursuing, the situation is definitely out of our hands entirely once we send our application out

Paul should have sent you confirmation of receipt of your package and give you the PQ letter. If he did and your not on the list I would ensure your package is solid and not missing anything. If its solid then its safe to assume you will role to the next board (but confirm this)

The funny thing about this, which isn’t actually funny, is that even if you submitted a day or two before the deadline, and if the OR or Paul in this case, didn’t push your application off to get the medical determination before the deadline, then most likely you won’t get that letter back saying you are “physically qualified” before the deadline. And that’s what you need prior to being considered for a board. This is why I’m rolled from the January board. Even though I submitted on time, Paul didn’t get to it until after the deadline. So once I got the PQ letter, my application was forwarded to the board past the deadline, which automatically put me in line for this May board. If I were you, I’d check the date on that PQ letter. If it’s past the deadline, there’s your problem.

I was informed ( by NRC) that there are always some extra packages that make it to the board that did not make the published list.

That always happens, but it isn't a lot, often it is just a handful that were being finalized at the same time the at board list was being finalized.
