2007 Bah Rates

Anybody else notice the rates appear to have gone down for Lemoore... at least for O-3 types..
 
Anybody else think it's odd that the BAH at Whiting is only $99 more for an O-2 with dependents than without?
 
I searched around but nothing on 2007 BAS. Does that mean BAS did not change, or is it just not yet released?

A recent Navy Times issue covered the change in BAH rates. I guess some agency did a review of all rates and some people really got screwed.
 
If your 2007 BAH went down for your current duty station, you should still receive your 2006 BAH. They can't decrease your BAH while you're still living there on the same orders. They can only maintain it or increase it.
 
Whoopdie doo . . . even if not, I lost a whopping 10 bucks a month until I get the "JG" removed . . .
 
If you're going to get married in 2007 it's time to get "admin married" in 2006 to lock in the higher rate. In Whidbey that's $110 bucks a month difference.
 
$37 increase per month. SWEET. I'll take it. But kinda weird...E-3 with dependents went down by $18?? Why the heck would they give us single folks more and take away from the families?

You get BAH while in BDCP? One more reason the program kicks ass I guess. Funny though that actual E-3s cant get BAH unless there is a shortage of barracks and they give it to college kids on a whim, regardless, take it where you can.

Woo. BAH for a O-3 went up $59 here in JAX.

Nevermind that the average house has gone from $150K to $225K in three years....
