15 SEP2025 SNA/SNFO BOARD

Finally got word that I was PRO REC N for these boards (SNA only). This is my second attempt. Anyone have any advice on applying a 3rd time? Do they take number of attempts into consideration? Also, Does anyone have any gouge on Marine Corp aviation boards/selection?
 
How many of you who were denied had non medical things in their packet? I had a single experimental marijuana use on my package, which I think requires a waiver. And I was also Pro-Rec N despite having pretty decent scores and a good GPA. Do we also have to wait 6 months before reapplying?

The only non-med stuff I had in my packet were my tattoos on my legs/back. Felt like my score and GPA was 50/50 with a 48 5/9/6 and 3.20. Regarding your question about the 6 months wait, I believe so.

I think it's 6 months unless there's a "significant change" in your package, like new ASTB scores for example. Someone else will have to confirm that

Same thing happened this time last year, they filled up the quota in 3 boards and the next normal board wasn’t until May. March is still a FY26 board so I’m thinking we won’t have a regular board until the May or June one. Just gotta keep our heads up and think of it as more time to learn that Bravo knowledge lol

Seconding elariosa, this is what I’ve seen/heard. Same as you on the drug use, we don’t qualify for ISEL. But there won’t be a board for 6 months anyways so just gotta wait.
