15 SEP2025 SNA/SNFO BOARD

Ok i was already at MEPS earlier this year for a diff beanch. Didn't disclose all that, just on the sf86. They dont cross check those? What should I tell my recruiter? I said I disclosed drug use on my 86 and I may need a waiver.
Let me get this straight, you disclosed the drug use on your SF86 which goes to NRC but didn't disclose to your recruiter, this means you falsified your documents.

You need to disclose this to your recruiter as these documents don't go away, people can and have been booted out for lying on documents.

If you disclose now probably the worst that will happen is you will need to redo some documents and get a waiver.

You should also not just make this a phone call since if your recruiter doesn't do anything and later you are found out this will still all be on you as you won't have any proof you told anyone.

@FormerRecruitingGuru may have some better advice or can correct what I have told you if needed.

When applying to a different branch I didnt disclose on sf86 or recruiter, but this sf86 I disclosed and I talked to my recruiter today about a drug waiver.

The recruiter said that they didnt send my sf86 and that if I make mins for ISEL they can have me edit the sf86 and hinted at changing info without actually saying that.

It doesn't sit right with me, but also if I do qualify for ISEL that would be good because the board just got pushed back again to July with no end in sight.

Should I not take my recruiters advice and just fill get the waiver sorted? I feel like at this point for the most part my hands are fairly clean?

Edit: Also previously I held a intrem secret for a gov internship that I didnt disclose on. Since thats 2 do I just have to stick to my guns now? I wanted to come clean this time around but would that bite me in the ass?

I'm pretty sure even if you were to omit your drug use on your non-sf86 documents, the people responsible for processing your packet would verify your SF86 forms align with your non-sf86 documents.

Before I applied to this board, I was going for Army OCS and had an Army recruiter try to get me to lie on all my documents about my dropped marijuana charges. I told him helll nooo because I already had a clearance, and obviously it's wrong. He still went ahead and submitted documents behind my back, and the Army Batallion that processes OCS packets rejected it because it didn't align with what I truthfully said to my security interview and documents. Shit was dumb as hell, but yeah, even though it's a different branch, I'm sure there still an entity that verifys every document submitted.
