1,001 questions about the ASTB (post your scores & ask your questions here!)

Hello all,

I scored a 64 8/6/7 on my first ASTB attempt and I'm applying for SNA. While I don't qualify for I-SEL, my recruiter told me my scores are semi-competitive and I should try applying for the board later this year. A weird glitch happened during the UAV portion of the exam and my screen went black for a solid 45 seconds, causing me to respond pretty late. Would it be worth trying again in 30 days for I-SEL or should I take the score and try at the board? I'm working full time (24 years old) so I'm not too worried about waiting some time. Thanks!

Edit: My GPA is a 3.87.

Your FOFAR is already ISEL anyways, your best bet is to retake and grind out stick and throttle training to increase your PFAR, thats the only thing holding you back.
