Is the 30-day ASTB merge score deadline hard? I didn't know there even was such a deadline when I took the OAR 3 months ago, and now I'm considering SNA/SNFO... scored a 70 on the OAR but had to do quite a bit of prep, and I doubt I'll be able to replicate the score.
Hey y’all, my I-SEL packet was submitted early December, and I have yet to hear back from my recruiter. Does anybody know the average wait time for immediate select, and why it’s taking this long? I heard it’s on a rolling basis & the holiday break could have delayed it, but
I’m growing a little anxious. There’s a lot of life changes happening, and a secured date would help a lot right now.
Thanks in advance!
My package got submitted November 23rd and heard back January 8th. I was feeling the exact same way and my mom was asking me every day if I’d heard back lol. It is "immediate" SelectionSometimes the ISEL process isn’t immediate, especially if it’s for a closed program.

If you submit that youre getting denied and you'll have to wait 6 months to apply again. Id retake.Just finished my second attempt of ASTB. First try got 3/5/4, second attempt 4/6/5. Minimum scores I would assume based off previous boards on the spreadsheet. Should I submit these scores and just see or retake even though it’s the last.
How much did you study for your 2nd try and what resources did you use?Just finished my second attempt of ASTB. First try got 3/5/4, second attempt 4/6/5. Took it last Feb, hard study march-mid April. May-July had some personal issues but would still study for at least a hour or two. Hard study aug-Jan. I used both ASTB prep app and tutoring app. A little of the Gomez kit. The math is what I know for a fact I need to practice. I was familiar with a lot of the problems on the ASTB.How much did you study for your 2nd try and what resources did you use?
What were your scores on the ASTB prep app for math? And the performance test? I’m just hoping the app doesn’t give false confidenceTook it last Feb, hard study march-mid April. I was getting like 50%-53% but once I started getting the hang of the problems I started getting 70%-76% occasionally 86-85%. The tutoring app helped more with deciphering word problems, the prep app helps more with random questions on a time scale but I did feel like they repeated. What were your scores on the ASTB prep app for math? Nice, but what about the ANIT you were getting 85% on that and still couldn’t lock in 7’s?I was getting like 50%-53% but once I started getting the hang of the problems I started getting 70%-76% occasionally 86-85%. Gotta be fast on the UAV to get a good score thereI got 2/3 emergency procedures. But I did fine on the terrain and UAV.
