I think ASTB prep app covers like 40 ish percent of content. If ur going for a higher score u should definitely memorize everything from the cram anit flashcards and histories of each naval aircraft. I remember getting a bunch of f14 questions from my testIs ASTB prep app enough for the ANIT section preparation ?
I did that for my first attempt and had a few curveballs I couldn’t confidently answer. i would try and expand the range of information for that one. Quizlets are great, there’s some with like 500 questions in em. Find tests online too.Is ASTB prep app enough for the ANIT section preparation ?
Does a good job. The best for ANIT in my opinion are the 400+ flashcards on cram. Math does a good job with the lessons, the practice tests can get pretty repetitive; mechanical is the same thing. I would do practice tests from the drives and the app to get a broad understanding of what to expect and as much practice as you can.Is ASTB prep app enough for the ANIT section preparation ?
Yep, it's an extra $9 to use a joystick(s).One more question, do I have to pay extra in the app for the joystick functionality?
I was looking at the app listing and there’s an in app purchase of $10 for the joystick functionality
You got a 95th percentile OAR and you know how to run a regression model so you’re obviously not lacking in the intelligence department. PFAR is a little lackluster though. Since you already bought the Hotas you might as well send it so I’ll just reassure you. You’re gonna kill it, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you popped off a 9/9/9. Good luck!Summary of my situation:
• I recently took the ASTB and scored 66 8/6/7.
• Based on the Air Warriors historical data I could find, I ran a regression model and it predicts about an 80% chance of selection with my current scores.
• I already meet the competitive range for SNA, but I want to maximize my chances and ideally reach 7/7/7 ( I-SEL) or higher.
• I bought an X52 HOTAS and started practicing the PBM-type tasks using the ASTB prep app.
• I’ll practice for minimum a month before the retake but I am terrified of scoring lower
Should I retake ?
Please advice
This is interesting, could you possibly run a model on my current stats as well? I have a 46 6/9/7 and I am worriedSummary of my situation:
