I will go with this since most of the people are AD. This is an opportunity for the COC to publicly congratulate these sailors in any way they see fit, it could be a 1MC announcement, or it could be they are called to the bridge, the CO show up to the person's morning quarters, etc....

There are many things a CO does that are not enjoyable, this give them a chance to see the sailors joy when he gives them the life changing news.

You are not the only one to do this and you won't be the last, everyone learns.
 
Do BDCP results get released later than regular OCS results? I just asked my recruiter if my results were out and he said nothing has been released, yet. I’m a BDCP applicant with no years of service, by the way if that makes any difference.

Same time, results are out as a person inadvertently posted them in this thread before removing them.
 
first of, congratulations to those who got selected!!! So happy for you all!!

I’m currently trying to apply for OCS and will be taking my OAR in two weeks. I really wanted to know, for those who’ve got selected, could you please share scores you’ve got and things you’ve sent out like gpa, LORs, etc. i really want to know if I have a chance

Depends on ur major gpa
Letters of rec
Prior service
Related experience
Oar matters but think of it as your ticket to get into the show.

I have a 3.11 GPA
3+ LOR from a warrant officer, LtCol, Maj, Professor
Was not in service before but participated in rotc for all of high school and 3 years in college.
Will be taking the OAR soon.
I was just speaking with my recruiter and I may need a waiver because I have a C on one of two math courses.

Any waiver isnt great get above a 50 on the OAR I d say you d get in
