03 NOV 2025, SNA/SNFO BOARD

hey guys, my packet has been in since august, but I haven't made it to any of the subsequent boards (September and November). I'm applying out of the Sacramento office, and when I got a hold of my recruiter he said that they aren't reviewing applications from the west coast and specifically Northern California. wondering if anyone else from NorCal has heard the same from their recruiter?
This sounds like something that district is doing as the spots available are not restricted by any area, if you look at the past results you will see people selected from all over the west coast.

The other thing could be your recruiter doesn't think you are competitive and trying to wait until he or she thinks there will be a board that will give you a better chance.

It’s very possible either the NTAG or recruiting region has met its goal and not allowing applications unless folks apply for other “on demand” programs.

Navy recruiting command as a whole is also following this protocol to ensure harder to fill programs are being worked on.

I’m applying out of the same office. We likely are having the same issue. What I’ve been told is that there’s a significant delay/back up for aviation and flight school applications so we’re all just in a queue to get reviewed.

Do you know if this backup affects immediate select applications? I just put mine in a couple weeks ago and recruiter said he usually hears back in about 3 weeks.

I believe ISEL is reviewed independent of the normal boards and they just ship out as they go. I have no idea if this backup affects ISEL, I'd assume not because ISEL is meant to get you out asap.

The premise of ISEL was to get people out quick, however they have to have spots at OCS for the designator in order to get a person out quick, that means if you look at some of the past ISEL people they have been waiting for a few months or so.

Waiting a few months to hear back of their acceptance or waiting to ship out to OCS?

Also applying out of Sacramento, this is along the lines of what I have been told as well.

If our packet is complete, is there any reason it wouldn’t be almost automatically submitted to the next possible board?

One thing this board should teach everyone is that nobody here really knows anything. We were all pretty sure this was a BDCP/NFO board only and clearly they changed it at some point to a regular board and nobody knew.
Just seeing all this now, wasn't checking since I was waiting for things to pick back up towards the March board. But that's frustrating for sure... my recruiter seem to not know anything about that too and I know i was going to be resubmitted for whatever the next board is since apparently I didn't even make it to board even though the system said I did... guess I'll still be waiting for the march board lol, we were so sure that they weren't picking up any street SNAs for this november board.. Anyways congrats to everyone that got selected!

I apparently "made it" to the September board but got a "PRO-REC-N" because I wasn't even on the at-board list and I apparently wasn't actually at board according to my recruiter--who to this day, is still trying to figure out what's going on. I am suppsoed to be resubmitted whenever the next board is but since we all thought (including my recruiter) that November board isn't taking any SNA's we planned to submit for March. I'm also applying out of NorCal but I haven't heard anything about they're not reviewing applications from the west coast, ALTHOUGH, I DO know from my recruiter that NO ONE got picked up for SNA from the entire NorCal district on the September board. Idk what to make of it and honestly don't know whats going on anymore and is just hoping March would be normal...

Typically if after applications are submitted when they make a change such as only BDCP, those that don't fall into that category will just get pushed to the next board, they won't get a Pro N. The times I have seen it where they do Pro N those that don't fit into what they are selecting for it is because they are going to have several of the upcoming boards that won't be selecting for what that person is submitting for.
