That is what NRC plans for, however you have variables that can alter the spots, such as ISPP and ISEL. If you get a bunch of those applicants submitting then all of a sudden spots are no longer available.

I won't lie, this board is giving me the same stress/dread that I was feeling while waiting for my FE exam results
Do they have you sitting around in Pensacola or Newport while waiting to class up?

it's pretty typical to just sit around for a while in Pensacola before classing up for NIFE. idk what the current wait times are, but I checked into NASP in November 2023 and started NIFE in May 2025

Probably the most underwhelming way to find out you passed is waking up at 6 AM to see an email that just says "PASSED"
