This is according to exnavy. Doesn’t necessarily mean there’ll be a board right then. That’s just when FY 27 selection begins

Ahh got it makes sense, here’s hoping for a May board then, last May board had like 70-80% acceptance rate iirc

it's def an updated one it used to say FY26 (5/6) and FY26 (6/6) before, glad they kinda officiated the FY27 starting at May board

It seems like just SNA slots are full like last board. SNFO and BDCP should still be open to apply this board

I believe there's a wait period of 6 months from a rejection, unless you have a significant change in your package (new degree, better test scores, marry admirals daughter). In his case, FY27 opens in 6 to 7 months anyway, so if you can wait that long (and there's no cancellations) it won't be the end of the world.

The wait is for the regular board.

What are yalls reasoning for picking SNA over SNFO or vice versa? I feel like each has pros and cons. Want to hear what you guys say.

I went SNFO because I didn’t want to pay for PRK and there’s a better chance of getting jets. I’ll be happy in any platform but I’d rather be backseat of a jet then front seat of anything else.
