IFS is nothing more than than can you fly a plane without freaking out and is this something you will enjoy. I know of a person that landed on the nose wheel first, costing about $30k in damages and still passed.

If you are married and have follow on orders to NASWF in Milton you can do a PCS move.

Um a lot smaller. C152 has a lot of room compared to the T-6. Primary with the T-6 is to teach towards a single pilot attitude (i.e single seat fighter pilots).

Yep. They are usually allowed "free time" to use the pool starting week one. I know the Chiefs (when I was there) were pretty upset they couldn't get a SEAL to Newport to train and condition SEAL candidates because OCS is a Zumba class for SEAL candidates haha.

If you ever have alone time I would practice the OCS gouge ballistic because you won't be saying it in a calm tone until after RLP and there will always be someone in your face.

Yes in a non stressful environment. It's all different when you add that factor in, also when you are required to be ballistic. Your core is already tight from the workout, now having to yell as loud as you can...completely different.

Ya it isn't that bad, but then again you are gonna be up and ready to go at 5am with probably a lack of sleep. The DI's tend to push you to your limits, they treat every individual differently.

Ya tbh I wouldn't go home. You don't have any leave acquired (2.5/per month) also you have a two week stand down in King Hall then you go back to RLP. Keep your mentality sharp during the xmas stand down as I know a few that were going back into week 3 after the stand down and ended up DORing.

I was 31-14. Haha you were in API with the infamous "kiddy" FO. I was originally slated for 30-14 but got pushed back because there were to many students not enough seats.

Its around 4-6 right now. Weather has been great no cancelled flight during the month of August so people are classing up faster. What API class were you? Surprised you aren't classing up for Primary for another month.

I even thought the Helo Dunker was worse than the mile swim. Was so excited for the dunker until I had to sit toward the front of the Helo, swim down to the end, open the window and egress...that sucked. Don't worry about the mile swim, its more boring than it is hard.
