Finally got my last reference and SF86 done before the weekend! Stress free weekend = rum and coke and video games with the wife lol!

People have been talking about this "rolling board" since the beginning of April. Personally I don't think it will happen until July or my application gets submitted which is May 1, 2013 :D

So what are people's thoughts on the next selection board? Similar or different than the March board? ;)

I just used DD370's for all references employers, professors and coaches.

No. It took me a good 2-3 weeks. Mainly cause I have had multiple part time jobs throughout college and different residency's throughout college. Other than that it wasn't to bad just have to print it out sign it and submit my package on Wednesday May 1st.

Finally finished that SF86!!

Good luck. Those are already strong scores. You understand a retake replaces your current scores regardless if improved or not.

Ok I agree 100% with that. If anything I felt the the OAR was most important. Not that the other sections weren't obv.

Man that "6" really irritates me! Lol

I understand that. Where I am getting at is that no one knows how the ASTB is calculated and it is suggested that the math and/or mechanical portion play a role in the aviation/NFO scores. But I don't believe they do.

I personally believe that the OAR section has nothing to do with the aviation/NFO scores. IMHO

Oh trust me I would have no problem with SWO. Honestly SNA is my first choice but I ultimately just want to serve my country and provide for my family or future family that is.

SNA/SNFO/SWO. It's funny I feel like SWO is my best shot since I did well on the OAR.

SNA, SNFO, SWO. But no preferences really I would gladly accept any as I want to serve as an Officer first. When are you applying? This your second or third retake?

no problem. I used the study guides for the most parts but spatial just need the concepts down cause the pictures are completely different. But I also raised my score from a 5/6/6 49 to a 7/7/6 61.

acetheastb.com is pretty accurate and gives good tips.

trust me none of the study guides do justice for the spatial portion. the actual exam is MUCH different.

How are 7's average when it says on the ASTB online that 7% of test takers get a 7/7 on AQR and PFAQR.

I I would honestly have to say these scores are fairly similar in a sense.

But July board is for FY14. My OR said there is a need for pilots and he thinks the selection rate will be around the same. March board only selected 100% of the considered applicants not all of them.

Thanks. It would be nice to get the clear. I am just wondering if they haven't had a rolling board because not enough applicants. I know they still have a qoute to fill for FY13 of 52 pilots and 3 NFO's.

Ya I got a 5/6/6 49 my first attempt and OR said not to retake cause of the March boards, but they weren't good enough for me personally so I retook to get a 7/7/6 61.
