Shotgun-Wielding Man Comes To Neighbor's Rescue

Florida is a true Free State. I miss it. Mississippi was the same. Now I live in occupied territory and there is no hope for 2nd Amendment freedom here. No hope whatsoever. These people are sheep, through and through.

A4s, you're a man after my own heart. I was going to reply with the same exact thing, the old FBI load. Tried and PROVEN.

    Poor Man's Machine gun?

Wasn't that the original discussion? Highly recommend you don't do this.

    Poor Man's Machine gun?

Look at the no-sh!t original AR-15 when they were designing the M-16 program. It's actually pretty cool to see the differences over the years. It was based on an AR-10 design and had a bit different look to it.

    Poor Man's Machine gun?

That's because the AR-15 of 1950-whatever was a COMPLETELY different animal than the AR-15 of today.

    F-18 Squadrons

The Marines don't fly Super Hornets, but if you want to know where Super Hornets squadrons are: Oceana, Lemoore, Japan. Edit: Marines can go to the RAG at VMFAT-101 at Miramar, VFA-125 at Lemoore, or VFA-106 at Oceana. Marine Hornet squadrons are in Miramar, Beaufort, and Japan. There may be...

    Poor Man's Machine gun?

Correction: If you didn't own it before the ban and you live in California, it's impossible to get a real AR-15. Yep, the only alternative available. Sucks. That's because most FFLs don't want to lose their license for illegal activity.

Certain ones are, all the fun ones in fact. California is worse than Massachusetts when it comes to guns.

What he said. That skeet range on base is a gouge deal. Check it out sometime, it's dirt cheap and a lot of fun.

There is a great shooting range halfway to Jackson, the Bienville Shooting Club. Look it up, it's private, but give them a call. Awesome range, great facility.

    SIG questions

I'm not going to read every post and instead answer your question. The 9mm P226 is NOT compatible with .40 or 357sig barrels. The slide/frame is not strong enough to support the pressures. The only swappability (new word) is available in the .40 or 357sig version. Those you can swap barrels...

What I learned on my trip through O'Hare and Frankfurt

I'm not sure I really like any large airports. 1) Las Vegas McCarran - HATE this airport. You can't get from one terminal to another without going through security. If your plane goes to Terminal C and you connect in Terminal A... you have to leave the secure area and go through security at...

My new (old) piece of history

What's fun is when people shoot it and don't listen to you when you tell them to hold it TIGHT into their shoulder. Mefesto, I'm looking at you. Strippers are tough on those rifles because of the rimmed case. A stripper on an SKS is like magic :) You get used to it, no worries :)

What I learned on my trip through O'Hare and Frankfurt

What I learned on my trip through O'Hare and Frankfurt

    A) Never fly without an iPod or some other music device. It will work wonders for drowning out jet noise, crying baby noise, etc when trying to sleep. I stick it on my Classical genre and I tune out. B) As much as I hate Atlanta, it is true, there are an AMAZING amount of attractive females...

I never figured out why Marines are not required to go. It's very valuable training and boot camp/OCS is not going to provide THAT kind of training, despite how tough you think you are. Does the Marine Corps just prioritize it differently?

It wasn't the choice of music so much as the editing. You need to learn how to transition between songs and when :) Good video though, like I said, brought back memories.

    NFO-No future Outside?

You'll notice a majority of the "second rate" opinions come from people who have never flown with and may never even have worked with an NFO. I'm in an NFO community... I've never once seen an NFO treated as "second rate".

    Salute this.

Precisely, it's not unique to the Navy. The Marine E's on NASM were REALLY bad about it, and it would shock them when a Navy O would correct them on it. Point is, if it happens to you, and you do nothing, you are part of the problem.
